Cut Stone flexible clay cladding

Cut Stone carries deep vertical flutes, chiselled rather than machined, so the ridge spacing wanders slightly the way hand-worked stone does. On a tall plane it produces a strong vertical rhythm that makes a wall read as taller than it is.

CS-1 through CS-4 are the fluted shades: a pale sandstone, a soft olive, a warm ochre and a deep charcoal-green. The three (P) shades are granites — CS(P)-5 a red aggregate, CS(P)-6 a pink-grey speckle, CS(P)-7 a black-and-white salt-and-pepper — carrying the same fluting on a granite face.

Fluting is the hardest texture to turn a corner with in rigid stone: every external angle needs a mitre and every column needs a bespoke curved section. Here the flutes simply continue around the radius, which is why this collection appears on almost every curved-column enquiry we quote.
