Ripple Stone flexible clay cladding

Ripple Stone is a soft, evenly spaced vertical wave — not the hard chiselled flute of Cut Stone but a rounded corrugation that reads almost as fabric pleating. It catches light along each ridge and produces a continuously graded shadow rather than a hard line.

RS-1 is a pale sage green, RS-3 a soft silver, RS-2 a warm khaki, RS-4 a bronze-gold, and RS-5 and RS-6 a deep olive and a dark teal-black respectively. The metallic-leaning shades are the ones most often used on reception fronts and bar fronts.

Of everything in the range, this is the collection that behaves best at the tight end of the bend limit. Because the corrugation runs vertically, wrapping the sheet horizontally around a column compresses the ripples very slightly on the inner face and reads as entirely natural. It is the standard recommendation for circular columns between the 381mm (15in) minimum and about 600mm diameter.
