Bamboo matting is one of the oldest wall finishes on the subcontinent and one of the least durable. Bamboo Mat takes the herringbone chevron of split-bamboo matting and casts it into a surface that will not split, splinter or host insects.
BM-1 is a pale mint-white that keeps the texture legible without adding colour to a room. BM-2 is a terracotta-brown, the closest to natural aged bamboo. BM-3 is a mustard-olive. BM-4 is a soft charcoal for a more graphic reading.
The chevron runs at a fixed angle across each sheet, so on a large wall the direction can be alternated sheet to sheet to build a larger basket-weave field, or kept consistent for a single strong diagonal. Confirm the intended layout at order stage — it affects how the sheets are cut.
