Board-marked concrete is the one concrete finish that cannot be faked with paint, because the whole effect is in the shallow relief left by the shutter boards and the slight colour variation between lifts. Getting it right in situ means a specialist formwork subcontractor and no second chances after the pour.

Concrete Plank carries the board impression as physical texture — the horizontal joint lines between planks, the faint grain the shutter timber leaves behind. CP-1 is the mid olive-grey most people picture. CP-4 is a pale, almost chalky green-grey for interiors. CP-5 is near-black and works as a plinth or a lift-core wrap.

Because it is a sheet and not a pour, it is the practical route to a concrete soffit or a concrete-clad column on a refurbishment where the existing structure will not take the dead load. It is also the collection to reach for when a client wants concrete in a bathroom or kitchen, where the material's waterproof and fungus-resistant properties matter more than they do on a dry wall.
