Knotted Stone flexible clay cladding

Knotted Stone is the collection people mistake for textile. The face is a fine diagonal twill, close enough in scale that from two metres it reads as woven cloth stretched over the wall, and the surface picks up raking light along the diagonal in a way no flat finish can.

WS-B1 is a warm olive-gold, WS-B2 a neutral graphite, WS-B3 a cooler blue-grey. All three shift noticeably between daylight and downlight, so it is worth seeing a sample under the actual lighting before committing a large area.

It is most effective on a plane the light rakes across — a corridor wall lit from one end, a wall washed by a slot light, or a column standing in a shaft of daylight. On a flatly lit wall the texture is largely wasted.
