Timber on an Indian exterior is a maintenance contract, not a finish. Monsoon swelling, summer shrinkage, termites, and an annual oiling cycle that nobody budgets for. Most projects that want a timber elevation end up with either an ACP print that fools nobody or a WPC board with a visible expansion gap every 600mm.

The four textured shades — WG-1 through WG-4 — carry the open grain as physical relief. Run a hand across WG-3 and the late-wood ridges are there. WG-1 is a bleached oak, WG-2 a pinkish cedar, WG-3 a weathered driftwood grey, and WG-4 a charred shou sugi ban black that has become the default for restaurant frontages.

The three (P) shades — WG(P)-1 to WG(P)-3 — are smoother and read as finished joinery rather than sawn timber: a golden teak, a dark walnut, and a mid-brown rosewood. These are the ones to specify when the cladding runs into a wall that also carries real veneer joinery, because the sheen levels match.
